Shall I part my hair behind? Do I dare to eat a peach?
I shall wear white flannel trousers, and walk upon the beach.
I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.

I do not think that they will sing to me.
I have seen them riding seaward on the waves
Combing the white hair of the waves blown back
When the wind blows the water white and black.

We have lingered in the chambers of the sea
By sea-girls wreathed with seaweed red and brown
Till human voices wake us, and we drown.

- The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock, by T.S Elliot.

but love without pain isn't really romance.

Oh man. I didn't go to church service today -REGReT- Today was such a powerful Word! Today was about broken hearts. Before the service, the pastor cast out demons. It was powerful! The victims were like screeching before they collapsed. I was so moved! The pastor was good, he could actually see the problems that people faced and he called them out without the victims actually telling them their problems. He cast out the spirits of fear and criticism and I'll bet that was a totally life-changing experience! Wish I went. Sigh. Oh well, anyway I'll get off and study my geog. Taas!

God bless!
